Abstract
Pastes based on calcium hydroxide and MTA cements are widely used in the treatment of disorders of destructive teeth and surrounding mineralized tissue at present time. The article presents the comparative characteristics and identified disadvantages of commercially available materials based on calcium hydroxide and mineral trioxide aggregate. Identified limitations of bone-seeking medicines dictate the need for further research of better and more accessible compositions for practical use in clinical dentistry.
