Abstract
Theoretical principles of development of cross-cultural competence are covered in the article. The conducted research allows to estimate the versatility of the considered concept in the aspect of tolerance. Also, as a practical component of the effective international cooperation within cross-cultural competence, a special course named "Business cross-cultural communication on a tolerant basis" is offered.
