Abstract
To calculate the market value of the minority interest it is necessary to apply a discount. The main problem in numerical calculations is the rationale of this magnitude. The article shows that now the discount for non-controlling participation of Russian companies is significantly higher than the estimates made on the basis of foreign companies and earlier national studies.
