Abstract
The article examines the impact of student participation in public organizations on the psychological characteristics of personality. Used was developed by E. Yu. Mandlikova methods for quantifying the propensity to self-organization. Demonstrated experience in youth organizations gives better results on all indicators of the characteristics of self-organization of the individual student.
