Abstract
The article presents different approaches to the definition of Commercial law, determines its place in the Russian legal system. Also approaches to the creation of the unified code of commercial law were analyzed, the arguments of representatives of different points of view were considered. On the basis of these points of view, the author does a conclusion that codification of Commercial law is not expedient.
