AbstractThe microorganism genotyping technique developed earlier which is based on the double digest and selective label approach has been developed for identification of B. subtilis strains. The procedure of genomic DNA extraction from this microorganism has been optimized. The method can be recommended for genetic certification and confirmation of origin of commercially used bacterial strains. Keywords: B. subtilis, DNA digestion, genotyping, labeling, phytopathogens, restriction enzymes
