Abstract
This article deals with the peculiarities of informative reading on practical training in a foreign language in a technical high school. In the process of learning a foreign language important place is given to the reading specialized texts to find the most widely used in the future professional activity of the students due to the large number of scientific and technical information in a foreign language. The text to read should have an informative meaning and structural completeness, as to understand the meaning of a text recipient must possess a variety of skills; see inter-phrase connection; communication within and between sentences sentences and paragraphs, to take syntax and logical-semantic structure of the text of the speech as a whole. Introducing students to the basics of constructing the text, its linguistic features facilitates the path to rational reading of the literature on the field.
