AbstractIn a competitive environment, the complete satisfaction of customers provides the company a sustainable competitive advantage. At a suboptimal structure of product range a reduction in the potential and the real level of profit, loss of competitive position in promising markets, and as a result, a decrease in the economic stability of the enterprise. The relevance of this work is due to insufficient development of a methodological framework for determining the specificity of the product portfolio, optimization of product portfolio of the company, their adaptation to the Ukrainian market.Keywords: commodity nomenclature, optimal range, product group, product range, strategic flexibility
