Abstract
The theoretical model of formation of competence of social design of the student architect is a set of blocks of the scientific and pedagogical deyatelnost of the teacher of higher education institution (target, substantial, productive and estimated) aimed at implementation of the social order of the potential employer on preparation of highly qualified personnel for implementation of national projects regarding possession of competence of social design. In this article the substantial block of model is considered.
