Abstract
The article is devoted to the system of work on development and enrichment of foreign-language communication at technical higher education institution. Process of the foreign-language speech training is considered from the point of view of specific objectives and shares on two main stages: stage of students' mastering of the foreign-language speech bases and stage of improvement and further development of their speech activity. Four types of the exercises aimed at the development and enrichment of the speech are given. Need of training in practical use of the language is noted.
