Abstract
The article analyzes the importance of the work on pronunciation in the course of training in a foreign language at non-linguistic higher education institution. It is noted that real object of the new word storing are speech kinesthesia, sound image of the word created with the participation of hearing. Need of systematic work not only on the sounds of a foreign language, but also on the word, the phrase and the sentence is emphasized.
