MACHINE OPERATION MANAGEMENT VIA IMPROVING THE VEHICLE PARK STRUCTURE AND USING PRODUCTION OPERATION INFORMATION DATABASE

AbstractThe paper discloses the need to form vehicle parks with example of open pit mining facilities vehicles. A necessary condition is the accounting of technical and operating parameters related to vehicle operation. Modern open pit mining dispatching systems include such information database.
To support the selection of particular dump truck models, as well as their number, for the vehicle park, one is advised to use new methodologies and models supplemented with criteria of stability and transport flow, with dynamics of open pit mining work development taken into account. Vehicle park formation algorithm is presented.
To improve production enterprise management efficiency on the level of machine park structure, one needs, based on outsourcing, to establish centers of technics with function of conducting technical operation and leasing service provision. The proposals presented herein may be applied to mining machines (drilling machines, excavators) and road construction machines (bulldozers, cranes, pile driving machines), municipal public transport in cities, as well as other types of production activities that use vehicles and advanced dispatching systems.Keywords: efficiency, information database, Management, open pit dump truck, operation, selection, structure, vehicle park
