Abstract
The article describes the experience of carrying out the poetry creativity competition at the Agricultural University. “Poetry creativity competition” is one of the forms of students' independent work studying Russian and foreign languages. Similar events of interest are useful and interesting for the students of non-language higher educational establishments.
