Abstract
In this paper survey character is presented a number of technical and technological solutions obtained using the methods of numerical simulation of mechanical systems. These solutions are focused on improving of basic technological operations of wood preparation cycle in pulp and paper mill. The main technological operations classified as debarking in drum and chipping with use a disk machine. The purpose of development - reducing the amount of waste in the processing of round timber to wood chips in disc chippers.
