Abstract
The historical towns that have historical and cultural potential, in need of protection and preservation of the architectural and artistic qualities of spatial and historical environment. Modern enviroment of historic town does not conform to the requirements of modern life, which reduces its functional and aesthetic load. As a consequence, there is a problem of conflict interaction historical building and modern buildings and elements of the environment. To solve this problem is possible with design elements. Urban design contributes to formation of valuable picture of the world, maintains the tradition, creates new trends, creates comfort, it gives the city life stability and makes it more dynamic.
