Abstract
In article Alexander Aleksandrovich Voloshanovich's activity, 1941 year of birth, as consultant of human rights association of "The working commission on investigation of use of psychiatry in political goals", created on January 5, 1977 at the Moscow Helsinki group on A.P. Podrabinek's initiative is considered. The commission defined the tasks as follows: to find and publish cases of the illegal violent placement of people to psychiatric hospitals, efforts on their release; assistance to victims and their families; activities for a humanization of conditions of keeping in psychiatric hospitals.
