Abstract
The present paper consider the Technology Integration Roadmap, developed within the European research project «REALISEGRID» with the aim to analyze the evolution of advanced power transmission technologies in the European power system. The roadmap is based on a long-term vision of the European electricity network by 2030, on addressing the critical challenges in the use of the existing aging technologies and on the analysis of general benefits expected from the implementation of this innovative technologies spectrum.
