Abstract
This article deals with the difficulties associated with the practical use of vocabulary in a foreign language, as well as exercises aimed at semantization foreign vocabulary. Material in the exercises must be selected so that the students in the process of mastering a new all the time relied on their known values and the experience that they have acquired to work on vocabulary.
