Abstract
This article persents pressing issuesof sustainability of actual energy efficient light sources in the housing resources. It is shown that the most similar to the existing in the nature of the technical solution for such light sources is an incandescent lamp, because its natural analogue is the energy of solar radiation, and as a consequence the configuration of the incandescent lamp spectrum is similar to the sun unlike fluore scent and LED lamps. As the rate of energy consumption required to ligh in buildings of housing resources is now extremely low, and the main consumers of electricity in the modern urban housing are various household appliances and electronics, the feasibility of using as Hg-containing lamps and LED lamps as technological innovation for sustainable development seems doubtful and hopeless, especially in relation to the enormous environmental problems, especially for future generations, related to their production, operation and recovery. In this regard, it is necessary to focus the efforts of scientists and experts at finding new innovative technical solutions aimed at improving the efficiency of incandescent lamps, its reliability and service life, and focuses on the latest energy-consuming household appliances. It is mentioned that in the Russian Federation transition to energy-efficient sources occurred without proper organizational preparation, bypassing most important preliminary step - to ensure environmental security through the creation of an effectively functioning system for the collection, transportation and recovery of used mercury lamps, that conditions the necessity to minimize as soon as possible the accumulated environmental damage, and prevent further extremely dangerous highly toxic mercury pollution.
