THE EXPLOSION GLOW KINETICS OF SILVER AZIDE

Abstract
A model of energetic solid state chain reaction, in which branching is linked to the excited deactivation products in the crystal lattice with electron-hole pairs formation, was suggested and analyzed. It was shown that the dependence of chain carriers’ concentration on the initial substance concentration is not a typical one. The kinetics of silver azide explosion glow was described in terms of the model for the first time. The fitting parameters’ values obtained are close to the estimated independently.
