Abstract
Definition of «potential» in their own semantic value is derived from the Latin word potentia, which implies a hidden ability, power, strength. Large-scale interpretation of the definition of «potential» lies in its analysis as a source of opportunities, money, stock that can be applied that is used to resolve any problem or achieve any goal; the possibility of any person, society, country in a certain area». The definition of «potential» and «resources» should not be equated. Potential (economic, military, labor, scientific, financial, spiritual, human) is in fact «generic, collective characteristics of the resources assigned to the place and time». The term «human potential» expresses the aspect of resources for socio-economic development. Staff capacity should be understood as a set of abilities and skills of all the people who work for the company and solve their work tasks.
