Abstract
This article discusses the process of feed grinding, its relevance and challenges. The analysis of existing research on the factors have the greatest impact on energy consumption of the grinding process feed- cutting speed, form the cutting tool, sharpening angle, sliding angle, the thickness of the cutting tool, couples cutting gap. Based on this analysis, the authors concluded that the grinding process is poorly understood. There remain a number of factors, no consensus on the impact of which on the grinding process still does not exist.
