Abstract
The article analyzes the method of measuring a moving segment using a rotating wheel. In contrast to the "classical" method of measuring the length of a moving segment, based on the simultaneous applying of the ruler to its end, this method does not require the participation of clock and synchronization. This way of measuring proves the logical inconsistency of relativistic length contraction of the moving segment.
