Abstract
Possibilities of increase of a role of the scientist acting as the opponent on dissertation work are considered. Requirements of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation to professional competence and reputation responsibility of the opponent are generalized. The separate attention is paid to economic mechanisms of regulation of activity of the opponent. Article is prepared with financial support of RGNF, the project No. 13-02-00125.
