Abstract
The author gives a rational and mythological explanation of a dreaming theory. There is a generalized experience of a dreaming symbolism study, starting from the Russian cheap popular literature of the 18th century up to Freud’s psychoanalysis and Jung’s archetypes. The emphasis is made on the fact that modern science needs to define its attitude to the phenomenon of a “Mirror World” in cultural, social, political and other respects because one of the main purposes of modern civilization development is rationalism of similar phenomena.
