Abstract
Types of traditional and alternative protein supplements are described in the article. One of the most promising alternative protein supplements is canned food from biomass earthworms. The use of canned food from biomass earthworms allows to solve the problem of shortage of protein in complete feeds. Technology for producing canned food from biomass earthworms is proposed.
