Abstract
The paper presents the results of hygienic assessment of working conditions of the workers of the enterprises of ferrous metallurgy in a large industrial center of Siberia. The parameters of noise, vibration, dust, microclimate at the workplaces of the workers of the electric steel furnace and rail and structural steel shops are analyzed. The classes of harmfulness and hazards of the production environment are defined. The identified adverse working conditions determine the high levels of the risk of occupational disease incidence.
