Abstract
This article discusses the significance of technology to search for similar pictures in the conditions of information war. The article describes the common scenarios of falsification of pictures and describes the countermeasures against the such kind of falsifications. According to the results of research the author concludes the special importance of search for similar pictures to the information security of the modern state.
