Abstract
The paper analyzes the characteristics of the relationship of state institutions and local self-government in terms of regionalization in Ukraine, with a possible transition to a regional decentralization, which to a greater extent than the other models, corresponds to the implementation of the regional interests of Ukraine and contributes to the further deepening of the democratization of society.
