Abstract
Purpose of the work – comparative shear strength of adhesive and cement-sand mix (CSM) in seams between blocks, manufactured of wood-cement material. Specimens tested by machine SHIMADZU AG50kNX through seven days seven days after manufacture. Specimen 1 (CSM) collapsed under a load of 223 N (~ 0.02 N/mm2). Specimen 2 (adhesive) collapsed under a load of 3243 N (~ 0.27 N/mm2). On the contact area were traces of destruction of wood-cement material. This confirms the high adhesive bond strength of the adhesive layer and wood-cement material for specimen 2.
