Abstract
This article is devoted to professional self-determination in the high school age. In this article the concept of "professional self-determination", "personal self-determination", presented examples of possible difficulties and circumstances when choosing a career. Special role in this article is given late adolescence and the factors influencing the professional choice, because in this period is the formation of ideas about themselves in their professional activity.
