Abstract
In this article the existing electric drives, capable to use of the energy carrier in the form of associated petroleum gas. The analysis of gas reciprocating unit and gas-turbine power plant is made, their main merits and demerits are revealed. Characteristics of microturbine units are submitted, areas of rational use are defined.
