AbstractThe papercontemplates the notion of liquidity of commercial banks and methods of liquiditymanagement. The study revealed that currently there are many theories of liquidity management of the bank; however, it can be considered more effective in case of complexapproach. This approach assumes that liquidity management as a centralized level and decentralized. This problem is very current,becausefor the economy of a one country the process of managing liquidity of commercial banks is important and it ensures the stability and resilience of the banking system.Keywords: bank liquidity, commercial banks, liquidity, liquidity ratios of the Bank of Russia
