Abstract
It is shown that the quality assessment chronometric instruments was and remains an urgent task, because the existing it solution, due to the complexity of the task itself, are not optimal. In General terms, the task of assessing the quality of chronometric instruments can be formulated as a problem of the quantitative comparison of objects defined list descriptions that are fixed by means of information technologies. In the article it is proposed to consider an approach that is based on the analysis of the mathematical model of process of accumulation of errors in the measurement of time in chronometric instruments. The task of assessing the quality of chronometric instruments is reduced basically to determine the weights reflecting the share of consumer properties chronometric instruments. In General natural indicators of quality and balanced weight factors can be considered as elements of a matrix, which can provide not only single weighted indices of quality, but also whole groups of similar indicators/
