Abstract
This article indicates the peculiarities of using IT tools and methods in agricultural education and science. The relevancy of information data processing of graphical format in the process of analyzing and investigating natural objects were revealed. The article also proves the shifting in emphasis while processing with information virtualization to define some numerical characteristics and use mathematical environments for this purposes. The author provided examples of using MathCAD to solve professional tasks with the aim to activate cognitive activity and develop research skills in prospective agricultural experts.
