Abstract
In the article generalizes the classical and modern ideas about the formation and development category of state property.
Many opinions modern scientists boils down to one point, consisting in the fact that state property is an integral part of the development of economic relations. In some cases the state property becomes a guarantor of the stability of economic relations, and can act as an accelerator of growth of the economy in some regions and sectors of economic entities.
