Abstract
Occurring in the system of modern education changes are placing new demands on the methods of teaching students. Priority values of modern education is the development of analytical skills, specific practical skills, the formation of specialists able to make decisions. This article discusses the possibility of using a workbook in the study of the discipline «Documentary maintenance personnel management» as the most effective learning tool. It is shown that the workbook allows you to organize independent work, promotes the formation of a complex of practical skills, knowledge and abilities.
