Abstract
The article discusses the methodological approaches to the analysis of the value system of today's youth, a fact emphasized family values decline in the value system of today's youth, the results of empirical research - studied young people's ideas about the distribution of roles in the family, the attitude to civil marriage and the reconciliation of family and school, offers recommendations to increase the importance of the family in the value system of youth.
