AbstractThe complex effects of the coal and rock dust, noise, vibration, microclimate characterize the working conditions of the workers in the coal industry. The paper presents the results of the calculation of the index of occupational diseases of the workers in the coal enterprises by the results of medical examinations. The working conditions of the workers in the coal pits should be considered as particularly harmful working conditions for the miners, i.e. as extreme and associated with a high probability of occupational etiology of the nosological forms studied.Keywords: and index of occupational diseases., coal industry, medical examinations, occupational disease incidence, working conditions
