Abstract
The experience of many countries shows: rural tourism is one of the promising areas of the territories develpment. Its importance is stated in the Federal Target Program "Development of domestic tourism in the Russian Federation (2011-2018 years)." It is updated by the task of studying the nature of rural tourism, its types and models.
