Abstract
The article examines stability criteria of residual stresses, caused by grinding, and methods of their adjustment. Analysis of the part under stress gives an opportunity to track the relationship between technological parameters of grinding process and the character of residual stresses distribution, which allows to monitor quality of surface layer of the processed part.
