Abstract
The article describes the possibilities of determination of future teachers of physical culture "self-development" category, presented the opportunity to clarify the categorical apparatus of modern pedagogy in the structure of teacher training at the undergraduate level of education. The features of the study of the category of "self-development" in the professional education model in the study of the structure of the courses' practical pedagogy "and" theoretical pedagogy ". Thus, the course "Practical pedagogy" in the structure of the three sections provides in the formation of the stated standard of competence all the possibilities of scientific pedagogy, guaranteeing in solving the problems of determination of categorical apparatus qualitative refinement of the conceptual apparatus of pedagogical knowledge, the basis of the pedagogical model and pedagogical designing, defining and solving problems directly related professional job functions and competencies generated.
