METHODS OF SURFACE PROTECTION OF PARTS FROM FRETTING

Abstract
This article is devoted methods to protect surfaces from fretting parts. It is found that low-rigid shaft failures due largely fretting (fretting corrosion, fretting fatigue and fretting wear). To investigate the feasibility of wearlessness effect and its effectiveness in terms of fretting, a complex multivariate tests of lubricants.
The best tribological characteristics greases are samples with 6% of copper powder.
