EXPERIMENTAL STUDY OF THE MOTIVES FOR STUDYING OF JUNIOR SCHOOLCHILDREN WITH MENTAL DISORDERS EDUCATED IN A CORRECTIONAL ESTABLISHMENT (SCHOOL) OF BOARDING TYPE

Abstract
The article deals with the topical psychological and pedagogical problem of motivation for studying with regard to children with mental disorders. The authors show the results of an experimental study of motives for studying related to children with mental disorders who get their education in a special (correctional) boarding school. The issue about the character of direction of motives for studying and the dominant motive for educational activities of pupils with mental disorders in comparison with their normally developing peers is discussed.
