Abstract
In article the factors influencing the choice of a sales market of Russian retail, given the 5 largest companies in this sector, analyzed their performance. A comparison of business development strategies of Russian and foreign companies, the peculiarities of the Russian business models, given the reasons for the refusal of Russian companies to enter the foreign market and made appropriate conclusions and recommendations.
