Abstract
The article is devoted to the key problem of the dynamics of professionally important qualities of students – future psychologists from the first to the fourth year of study at the University. An empirical study of the communicative personality characteristics of students-psychologists allowed to reveal a positive, statistically significant positive changes of indicators of communicative and empathy; and the tendency of growth of communicative self-control and social intelligence of students from the first to the fourth course. Key dynamics of professionally important qualities of students in the learning process at the University is evidence of the personal-developing potential of psychological education.
