Abstract
In the article are considered the aspects characterizing the modern management of development of a forest complex (existing and necessary). The attention is paid to factors and conditions of increase of competitiveness of the specified branch. At the same time at this increase the principles of «green development» or «green economy» accepted in the modern world have to be fundamental.
