Abstract
he body becomes one of the leading cultural and aesthetic means of communication in contemporary culture, as in entertainment arts a man himself becomes an art in present-time conditions. The feature like “how many cultural meanings the body can express” is of great importance in the communicative nature of physicality. The less a person is like himself and the more he resembles someone else / something else (by means of plastic surgery, Photoshop or computer graphics), the more attractive he becomes for the culture, so at the end of the XXth - early XXIth century, a variety of bodily strains becomes very popular in the body culture. Bodily strains provide the body with many additional cultural images that are beyond the scope of naturalness and reality.
