Abstract
The present work is devoted to reviving the musical life in post-war Leningrad. One of the most important cultural center of the city which reflects the current state and development of musical art is Conservatory. After the war, musical groups continued to develop, continuously improve and increase the number of students. It took quite a bit of time to musical education has reached the pre-war level, and Leningrad once again became one of the first places among the major centers of the national musical culture.
