UNITED STATES NATIONAL STANDARDS FOR THE PREVENTION, DETECTION AND INVESTIGATION OF ACTS OF SEXUAL VIOLENCE IN PRISONS

Abstract
On the basis of analysis of the norms of the United States legislation in force in the penitentiary field and designed for instruction of prison staff, revealed the problematic issue of sexual violence committed against detainees in places of isolation. This study makes it possible not only to focus on the existing problems, but also to use the results in the operational activity for the prevention of offenses against sexual freedom and sexual inviolability in correctional institutions of the penal system of Russia.
